Just some practice sketches this week. A couple of cartoons came up in my memories on Facebook this week and the characters reminded me I left them hanging. So am working on my cartoon skills… We’ll see where that takes me. I’m a little rusty. Lots of practice ahead.
Also started a big floral this week… Just the underpainting finished so far…

Bags are so much fun! I can’t wait to see more cartoons – I like your old sketches!
Oh, we second Summer – paper bags are wonderful! Well, at least Tessa likes them. Kajsa again … she got stuck once. Now she can’t decide what to do. We call her the Queen of Indecision for a reason. She can sit for hours in front of paper bags making up her mind. But she’s never come to a conclusion before Tessa destroyed the bag, hehe. And a new bag means that she’ll start her decision-making progress all over again.
Now the start of your new picture looks quite dark and broody, so it will fun to see the finished article as they are usually so vibrant. I think Knuckles has such delightful face and lovely blue eyes, and that bag really works colour wise. Maybe there is an artiste within waiting to be let out? MOL
