30 in 30 – Day 6

Day 6 - SM

30 in 30 – Day 6

6″ x 6″ x 1.5″

acrylic on cradled board

It’s been raining on and off here for three days.  I think I want to go for a walk in that field of daisies… how about you?  Yes, if it’s Day 6, it must be time for a daisy or two.  Here’s a whole field to brighten your day.

Speaking of brightening someone’s day.  Bugsy made Knuckles very happy on Sunday by sharing with him.  Bugsy, in his enthusiasm to jump in my lap, made a quick trip by my breakfast and in the process stepped on my English muffin.

A minute or two later, I looked over to see Bugsy licking his left front paw.  I looked at my plate and the butter on my English muffin was smashed.

The “brightening the day” part:  When I looked back at Bugsy, Knuckles was there too and they both were licking Bugsy’s paw.  Such a good boy for sharing.  … my thought was… “You know you’ve been on a diet too long when you get excited about licking butter off your brother’s paw.”

If you’d like to see more of my paintings…. They are in my Daily Paintworks Gallery.

Have a good day…

Lou
