Day 03 - SM

30 in 30 – Day 3

6″ x 6″ x 1.5″

acrylic on cradled board

Here’s my Day 3 painting of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge put on by Leslie Saeta’s Blog.  If you’d like to see more of my paintings go to my Daily Paintworks Gallery

We came through the tropical storm very well… Sending good thoughts to all those up north of here who are still experiencing it.  Stay safe.

It’s a painting weekend for me.  Hope you all have a good one.

Here’s the side view of the painting. As you can see, it can stand on a book case or hang on a wall..

That kind of flower is one of my human’s favorites… not that she knows what it’s called, MOL! She loves paintings that can stand up on their own, and don’t necessarily need to be hung.

Even though it’s not purple, it’s often called a purple cone flower. And me too about paintings that stand up… Thanks for coming by.

  4. We love this cone flower! Glad you weathered the storm.

    That is beautiful.

Is that an echinacea/cone flower? I love those flowers. I really like how the stem wraps around the frame. 🙂
