Sunday Funnies – DOUBLE TROUBLE: The Adventures of Bugsy and Knuckles 12/14/14

Heading2SMBugsy Here….:  Christmas is right around the corner, so today we are devoting the entire Sunday Funnies to our Christmas Tree Training Series: The GARLAND and its MANY USES.

There are two things to remember about the Garland.  They are:

1. Only mess/play with the garland when the beans are not home.  Although they may think it’s cute when you steal an occasional ornament and play with it, the garland is an entirely different matter.  For some reason, touching the garland has disaster written all over it in their minds.

2.  The second important thing to remember is that they are not wrong. You can easily pull over the tree and end up in all sorts of trouble from playing with the garland.  I’m not saying don’t do it.  There are loads of fun times to be had with the garland.  I’m just saying,  EASY DOES IT.

Gently remove the garland from the tree.  See how Knuckles does it in this instructional drawing….

Once you have removed the garland from the tree,  have fun by using it as a jump rope…

Or by using it as a lasso on your brother…

garland4SMBUT… NEVER, EVER USE IT TO TIE UP YOUR BEAN… for some reason, they don’t like that…

And always leave plenty of time to put the garland back on the tree before your bean comes home.

Got it?  Any questions?

No, well, have fun then.

As always, we are participating in the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop  hosted by The Cat On My Head

Here’s today’s selfie….

BugsySpokesmanBecause I did all the blogging today, HH said I could use my selfie.  What ya think?

OMC…Mom can’t stop laughing. She was even been snorting. We have heard a story about the very first cat, Skooter, who lived with our humans. He pulled the entire tree over one year just as company was walking up the front walk. What a guy. Wish we’d known him. Absolute fantastic selfie. Thanks so much for joining us again this week. OMD OMC we did not know that we had to put the Garland BACK on the tree… that is a BUMMER…

  7. LOVE your tips, but….I don’t know about the putting it back on part, that would be hard and I would rather see my bean lose her mind! MOL! Thanks again for the shout out!! Love, Cody

Those are very good instructions for garland removal. I have studied your pictures and will practice as soon as my Beans get round to putting the tree up. Eric and I pulled the tree over several times when we were young.
    That is a great selfie.

  9. MOL! That’s a great way to remove the garland!

  10. Emmadog says:

LOL! What great tips and illustrations! The first Christmas with my current set of cats, they climbed the tree and toppled it numerous times. Thankfully they got over that phase, but they still enjoy removing low hanging ornaments. We don’t have garland, bummer.
