Show ‘N’ Tell Saturday — Green Gables

It’s been a productive week.  I have two pieces to show you today.

The first is a work in progress. It’s a pen and ink drawing that I’m adding a little color to. There’s an old building at the end of the street that was in jeopardy of being torn down. It’s a beautiful old home, but sustained a lot of damage during the hurricanes in 2004.

Just recently a committee formed to save it from demolition.  They have an event planned on Oct 25 that is a combination open house and an art sale to benefit the restoration fund.

I started this a while back and just kept pushing it aside until I heard about the event. It’s a good reason to finish it up… This one shows the back end of the house….

The painting below shows you the whole house.  I sold this one a while back…

My other piece for Show ‘N’ Tell Saturday is a KittyScape I finished yesterday.  It’s called Watching You.

Have a great Saturday everybody.
