59 Words – Painting 34: HOME

6″ x 6″ – acrylic on panel

word inspiration from Annette Clifford (Thanks)

(not for sale)

Meet Griswald…. When I looked at the word HOME from Annette Clifford, I thought it a perfect time to paint Griswald.  He is my neighbor’s new cat and he is thrilled to be in her home.  He’s about 5 years old and she rescued him from the local shelter just recently.  What a sweetie he is… although the honeymoon period is wearing off and he is showing tendencies to favor altitude (top of the china cabinet, etc.) like Knuckles does.

Anyway, welcome to your new home, Griswald. We are glad to have you in the neighborhood.
