Day 22 – 30 Paintings in 30 Days – The Flower Cat

A cat and a flower…. what better cat picture for a Sunday. This is Day 22 – The Flower Cat. This one is 6″ x 6″ on 300-pound watercolor paper. It is painted with acrylic glazes and has a shimmery cast to it.  It is framed and ready to hang.

This is a special painting because it is part of the For Amy fundraiser.  Please follow this link and read about it and participate. Amy needs all our help. Thanks for considering that. Amy Davis is a dear friend of HH’s friend Sheila. Amy was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and 100% of the purchase price of this painting will go to Amy. Insurance covers some, but not all of her expenses.

To see all the paintings or to follow the progress of Sheila in this fundraising endeavor, please visit, For Amy

The boys have their easy on today and we’re hoping that you have a wonderful day too… HH is still painting. One more week to go and she’s gonna make it if’n we have to prop her up at the easel to help her along.

Thanks to all of you who have participated and who have commented.  It’s fun to read the comments here and on Facebook at Lou Belcher Art.

Her back reminds me of a lioness. Very muscular. Love the flower and the background!!!
