30 Paintings in 30 Days – Day 23 – Ernie

Ernie1SMToday’s painting is another wonderful cat from The Island Cats blog. His name is Ernie.  Black cats are so fun to paint.  It’s all about the shadows and the highlights.  If you’d like to visit his blog, Click Here

Coming up tomorrow is the third of the Island Cats.

Note: (Just in case you didn’t see it before. Here’s the note explaining what I’m doing.)  Okay…. writing friends. I’m taking the painting challenge of painting a painting per day for the month of January. Part of it is that I need to post my paintings on my blog as well as on the blog of the creator of the challenge, Leslie Saeta. So, I’m just giving you a heads up that I’ll be illustrating my blog posts during the month of January with artwork that is totally unrelated to the topic of the post. Thanks for understanding.

We are having terrible connection problems today – sent you a note a few minutes ago but think it didn’t go – so here’s another. Sorry if it’s repeated!
As written to you yesterday, here are pix of my 1/2 East African Wild Cat, Lulu-cat. I am sending the link to the blog and you could select a pict. of your choice. We live in Burundi, central Africa…
Enjoying your daily paintings very much!

    Best regards,

I was caught up when I saw your painting. He looks so much like my cat Midnight. Great work.
