Now What….? After organization comes productivity…

Although I was overwhelmed at first when I listed out all the projects I had going, I did find the organization process enjoyable.  It was like a puzzle. And I had a good time solving it.

Organization is only step one, however. It does not bring me any closer to publishing that book or finishing any of my other projects. Now, I need to do it—to do the work. So with renewed enthusiasm, I start this day writing a post here and then on to working on my book.

The trick to all of this is to get busy right away, build some momentum and don’t let it slide. I am a firm believer that productivity begets more productivity and bouncing from pile of work to pile of work yields nothing but frustration.

So, how will I go about maintaining productivity?  I’ve decided that a weekly schedule and weekly mini-goals will do it for me.  I find goals that I can check off very rewarding.

This week…

Goal 1: Pull out the manuscript for my book, determine where I am and revise the outline.

Goal 2: Pull out the outline and rough draft for the Outlining pdf and complete and post

Goal 3: Complete one “BIG” painting before the week was over.

Goal 4: Write two more blog posts for Max’s blog and one more (after this one) for here.

There you have it… an easy-peasy start to my new life of productivity.
