I just had my shot of motivation. It’ll last me a long time, I think.
From time to time, I make excuses for not working on my books. Maybe that changes today and forever. A friend sent me the link below to an article in the local paper where I used to live. Read it and be inspired.
Deboarh Alvarado, writing under the pen name of Georgia Saunders, has written Home Street Home. It “is a work of literary fiction set in the homeless community of the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach.” Saunders has thrown in a good bit of her personal experience since she is homeless and lives on the street. She reads the classics and has managed to write and publish two books.
Next time I start thinking I have obstacles to completing my book, I’ll think again. I’ll keep this post short to give you time to read the article about Georgia Saunders.
